send the idea in to 'take a break' - you might get a tenner.

god you sound cheerful

is this what holidays do to a person?

That smacks horribly of democracy, Cod. What's wrong with running one's family as a dictatorship??

We had a bit of a crap holiday this year but on one day we'd got rid of gone out without my Dad. To extend the day we went to a hotel and got drinks (soft for DD obv and it had a really big lounge with Skye Bridge views) Anyway, as we were leaving we went to the loo and they had automatic soap and paper towel dispensers. DD and I were larking about with them and then the woman working there came out of a cubicle. Clearly she'd heard us carrying on.
Being the mature, sensible Mum I am I grabbed DD and ran out hooting with laughter.
I asked DD what the best part of the holiday was expecting her to say one of the boat trips, she said playing in the toilets was the best part, that and skipping down the street with me.
I'm such a child!

When we go on hols the things the boys claim they really want to do are the ones that cost £££. But in retrospect the things they enjoyed best were free!

Top this year was some fabulous rock pools.

Eat a crepe sounds really exciting

the DC voted this the best activity on our holiday but they weren't doing the pedalling!
Oddest and cheapest trip was going up to the top of a water tower
