hi, can anyone recommend any child friendly places (tea rooms/attractions/etc) in brighton? going to be there with a 2yo and a 3yo on sunday for a few hours in the morning and am looking for some places to go that will amuse them. somewhere around the lanes would be preferrable. thanks!

Definitely the Sealife centre by the (main?) Pier.
It's much better than other Sealife centres I've been to and there's loads to see including seeing the turtles being fed if you time it right. There's a shop (of course!) and a little cafe at the end too.

Went to Sealife on Sunday for DD's first birthday and it was great. DS (2.5) especially loved it.

We had fish and chips in the restaurant on the Pier afterwards (v. child friendly). Although we didn't walk through the amusement arcade but round the outside to get there (v. noisy and chaotic).

2 yo will be free. 3 yo will have to pay for.

The sealife centre cafe has a soft play area for little ones as well, or it did last time we went which was only a few months ago. It's only basic with a ball pit and slide but nice and safe.
