How family friendly is it?

Is it like a mini Blackpool?

Is it full of tat shops?

its lovely fab and gorgeous.

the Brisas or Nerucha for evening meals (I'm spelling phonetically so may not be spelt entirely right)
The miramar for and evening drink on the terrace
the COrb Marie for lovely meat dishes all cooked over charcoal and lethal whisky ice cream cake
And there is a lovely bakery for ensamadas and coca. Yummy, plus the beach is nice and there is a sand sculptor, you can also walk through the boquer valley from there which is beautiful

I don't want to post it here after revealing when we are going - just in case. Don't want some hairy handed trucker turning up!

Fimbo - have emailed - so you have assumed I am not some hairy handed trucker then?

We have just come back from staying on pine walk near the illa d'or hotel which we absolutely loved. It's stunning and quiet and classy. However, we were not mad on puerto pollensa itself, it's ok but on the verge of becoming a bit downmarket. Beaches are great though and around pinewalk there are lots of little bays which are very quiet with warm shallow water ideal for kids.

We adored Pollensa town which has the most lovely market, great restaurants and is just beautiful and old alcudia which is similar. We explored lots of the island and fell in love with palma and valdemossa.

We are going to go back to the pine walk area again next year but could take or leave puerto pollenca town tbh.

Thanks danny.

We are staying near Pollensa town.

Well we will if I can get any flights!!

Arggh - Easyjet haven't released them for August yet.

Went to PP for the first time this year. Loved it, and cant wait to go back. Nothing like blackpool!! Great for the children. The view on Pine Walk is gorgeous. We stayed about 25 min walk from Pine Walk, next time would definitly stay nearer. All i can say is BOOK!
