holiday last week october

was planning to book hols for lanzarote in october half term week, but am now tempted by either malta or crete.(have been to malta loads of times as a child and love it)but am not sure about weather. dont want it baking but hot enough for dc's to swim etc,has anyone been to any of these countries oct/nov time?

where did you go in gran canaria? need somewhere quite central as eldesr ds will want freedom and we dont want to hire a car,

doesn't temp drop rapidly in crete after sept, think it could be quite cool - not 100% on this though

yeah thats what i thought, greece is pretty much a no go after sept, if you want sunshine and warmth.

I have been looking at lanzarote too. Menorca is hot in October, gala en porter is good if you don't want a car, the season ends there end of october so it is quieter and cheap if you look on James villas you can get a villa for under £300. I am thinking about going.

great tips ,didnt think about menorca still being hot in october will look into that, keep tips coming though
