Passport expiry quiery?

Hi,
Just thought my trio passports run out in Oct, we might get to go to France for a couple of nights in Sept, will they be ok? I know some places you have to have 6 months still on them. Thank you.

France is ok I think, but check on passport agencY website if in doubt. Parents just had this nightmare as they're off to norway, and had to rush and get a new passport by going to a passport office and paying £114 each to get it done in a day! OUCH!
