I think my holiday is jinxed

1 we are broke so damn lucky to be getting a holiday

2 My mum & dad arranged a boating holiday for us but DH can't go because he has to stay out of the sun

3 Our alternative choice is booked up

4 We book Haven with Tesco vouchers

5 We intended to take tesco vouchers to buy food with.....tescos is miles away from the campsite

and now my Uncle just died & the funeral is on Wednesday in the middle of my holiday

Feel aweful for you and not sure what advice to give. But wanted to let you know summer is full of like this - everyone looks forward to it for ages and then it's always complicated and usually more stressful than work. Best of luck
