Things to do in Southend with a 11 month and a 21 month old.

Off to Southend tomorrow to meet extended family - bit worried about the weather and wondered if anyone had suggestions of things to do with two babies who will want to be crawling/walking as much as possible if we can't spend time on the beach?
Any suggestions much appreciated.

The Sealife Centre is really good-not sure if your lo's are too little to enjoy it (make sure you get your hand stamped when you go in so you can return later in the day if you so wish.

If the weather is ok Priory park is huge with lots of space for running and crawling-there is a playground there as well.

Thanks nobodysfool - will try that if the weather's bad... pretty coloured fish usually distract both for a while and great to know we can go in and out.
