CHERBOURG - child friendly restaurant

Am going to Cherbourg just for the day on Thursday. This is the 4th year in a row but as dd is now 3, it's getting harder to keep her entertained whilst enjoying a decent lunch. SO can anyone recommend a family friendly restaurant/cafe in Cherbourg please? We're on foot btw.

Also, things recommended for young children. We usually go to the gardens where there is a lake and a playground but it's quite small so is there anywhere else that we might have missed?

tia

hello . How are you? How was your trip, did you get to see much?

Far too short, really only had one whole day there, took a tourist bus around, but missed a lot of the sights i was hoping to see . Boys enjoyed football but by the time we got to the Nou Camp they were too late for a tour of the ground or see the footy museum, but L and his cousins loved the apartment on the 5th floor and the rickety antique lift - he wants to go again!

Hope all ok with you, any other trips planned?
