Can I use the same picture?
Do I do it through the post office?

Get form from po or internet, you need a new photo as I think it has to be taken within so many months of the application but they can compare it to driving licence database I think rather than have a new signature. Then you send direct or via PO Cehck and send which costs about £8 extra and is slightly quicker.

Don't really need quick, just cheap

Then you just fill in the form withphotos etc and send it off - £72

I filled it in online

They post it to me & I get it signed

We need photos but do not need them signing as he still looks the same

Filling the form in on the internet is the best and cheapest way. When I did DD's in June, we had the passport 3 days after I posted off the completed application.

Unfortunately, I forgot to check all the passports and didn't realise that DS1's passport had expired at the same time, and had to do a premium appt at the Passport Office.

That's what we have done
