Days Out in Tameside?

Hi does anyone know of any where i can take my 2 year old please i live in ashton-under-lyne, i don't drive so i would have to use public transport thanks in advance natasha

i know its really sad but ikea is good for a morning, cheap breakfast, free coffee and then a play in the creche while you wander the isles. my youngest loves it. have you also tried stamford park? dukinfield or hyde parks are good also. swimming at hyde baths is also fun with the waves etc. hyde have also been having stuff on in the mall...i.e icing biscuits, face painting etc, not sure if its still on though. hope this helps.
