Model villages? Or even just models?

Took dd (3) to the model village in the Cotswolds while visiting friends last weekend - she had a ball, thought the whole thing was magnificent. She's also very keen on the agricultural models at the science museum - clearly the whole "things on a small scale" is right up her street. So, was wondering what other options within easy reach of London there are. I gather there's a model village somewhere near Beaconsfield. Any other suggestions? I can't face Legoland...

No other suggestions but the Beaconsfield one is really lovely. DD (2) loved it

There is anoter one down near Dartmouth somewhere which was good but obviously not near london.

Beckonscot is fab - we have been loads of times and it is still enchanting.
