Overnight train travel with a one-year old - feasible?

Anyone tried travelling overnight with a baby (a 15-month old, not a newborn!)? Obviously we'd book a cabin, but am unsure whether there would be anywhere for the little one to sleep or if the berths are likely to be wide enough to share. Thanks for your help!

It's a long while since I've done this but there wasn't much room in the cabins. Istr I shared my bunk with ds2 - not much sleep to be had at all!

Yes we travelled on an overnight train with a 10 month baby in Australia. We didn't have berths, just seats which reclined a bit. We took turns holding the baby. It was OK, but the baby was a good sleeper.

How about taking a ready bed?like this That was the best solution for overnight ferry trips in a very small cabin.
