Where to stay within 2 hours of Nante airport, France in September.

Hi, It's our 10th wedding anniversary this year and we are planning 2 nights away from 3 noisy kids.
We have got flights from Bournmouth to Nante for only £30...bargain! Now we need accommodation.
Hotel or Chateau would be great but we quite fancy a little gite somewhere with a few little extras, something special.
Anyone any ideas??????
Would like to make it really special as we don't get to go away too often.

Nantes itself is actually quite nice - spent a year there after uni. there is a hotel right opposite the castle called duchesse anne which is v nice - big and old fashioned but not too pricey.

you can do daytrips to coast/loire valley from there (trains v reasonable in france)

and there are lovely restaurants which were allv affordable even when we were being paid a pittance!
