We're staying between Wheddon Cross and Exton, south of Minehead at the end of August, any suggestions for days out suitable for a 3yo and baby?

Thanks!

A few for starters- day passes into Butlins for the pools and entertainment, West Somerset Railway (use your Tesco deals if you have any), Lynton and Lynmouth with the vertical railway between, days at Minehead beach, or nearby Kilve for fossil hunting.

The falconry and animal centre at Allerford is great for young children and only about 10 mins drive from Minehead. We took dd when she was about 3 and she was able to bottlefeed lambs and hold lots of different small animals. I even got to hold a 3 month old meerkat which was lovely. here.

It's not a long drive to Woolacombe which is a lovely family friendly beach. Dunster Castle, or a trip to Dulverton and on to Wimbleball Lake. I lived near there as a child, the countryside is just beautiful, you'll have a great time.
