Flying to Tampa - Hotel recommendations nearby please possibly Clearwater or St Petersburg.

We are going to Orlando on holiday but are flying to Tampa. We need accomodation for 2 nights near to Tampa airport and wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere nice, pref with a pool and/or near a good beech with things to do.

My sister also suggested looking at Clearwater and St Petersburg if anyone has any suggestions there.

The hotel Don Cesar in St Petersburg is good for both the beach (its right on it) and it has two swimming pools.

Also check out tripadvisor. www.tripadvisor.com would have reviews on St Petes and Clearwater hotels.
