Can't help on the seating issue but I use them quite a bit and think they are fab.Way better than S;eazyjet or Ryanair and the extra legroom seats are fab.

Definitely not a turkey-where are you off to?

Elmosgirl · 23/07/2008 11:28

We flew with them when we went to Turkey, although was a good few years ago, had no problems.

whooosh · 23/07/2008 11:28

Warnign though-we used the online check-in last week and the "fast bag drop" and it was anything but fast.
This was due to a system error at Luton but as boring as it may sound, allow enough time for queues.

DeeRiguer · 23/07/2008 11:29

only malaga, for mallorca
want to go to grenada though!

its last minute my only hols.. even if parents are coming..

did you ever have to contact them though?
am i uber unlucky you think?

In terms of the actual flight, you didn't book it for luxury - and it's only a couple of hours on a plane.

I think they are all pretty much the same - ie you wont get a particularly good meal or anything on any of the budget airlines. I think we took Monarch last year and there was no hitch at all.

hope you get your booking ishoo sorted...

whooosh · 23/07/2008 11:35

Me too Ruby

Pinkjenny · 23/07/2008 11:35

We have just flown to Malaga with them, came back on Friday.

No problems at all, although we didn't check in on line and I was disgusted that dd didn't have a baggage allowance.

But the flights themselves were great.

This is the airline that has caused me not to fly again for the last 8 years...

I shall say no more, lol.

LIZS · 23/07/2008 15:59

We've used them chartered out of lack of choice really. Not brilliant but ok ish. But why fly to Malaga for Mallorca ?!

OsmosisBanana · 23/07/2008 16:00

My Dad calls them 'Air Mogadishu'

DeeRiguer · 23/07/2008 16:44

kiwibella · 25/07/2008 15:35

we also flew with them to Turkey... just as good as any of the other budget airlines.

glamourbadger · 29/07/2008 11:42

Flown them to Greece a few times. No problems, pretty average charter airline.

whooosh · 29/07/2008 11:44

Never flown them charter but am assuming i tcan't be much different from their scheduled service....

lulumama · 29/07/2008 11:50

fly to malaga with them

very good, much better than easyjet

when DD was sick everywhere, the stewardess cleaned up , gave us a blanket for her, wet wipes etc.. and when i tried to start mopping up, elbowed me out of the way

when DD sick on easyjet, i got given a paper towel .

and price wise, monarch came out cheaper than easyjet for our flights this year

Twinkie1 · 29/07/2008 11:52

We flew with them years ago and they were fine - really nice food actually is what I remember most.

RRR - is it you my 3 yr old walks around the house calling - am sick to the back teeth of RubyRubyRuby at the moment!
