Need somewhere nice ,any area of Cornwall from 1st-8th August.
Must have 2 bedrooms

I thought chintzy, dark and grannyish was obligatory in an English holiday cottage? Anyway it means you can get loads of sand on the carpet and nobody can distingush it from the muddy brown pattern.

I think you will find it difficult unless there is a cancellation. We found everywhere was booked when we started in April! We only got something through a friend of someone who was fully booked. Good luck-hope something turns up.

I think that you will need a late cancellation. You could try phoning one of the companies and asking if anyone has cancelled-they may not have got around to updating a web page. We got ours because someone had a friend who was just starting out (still building)and put me in touch.We tried last summer and failed, anything within 20 miles of the coast had gone! We only wanted a cottage for 4.
