Holiday recommendations please!

We're looking for somewhere to go with a 16 month old and a 3 year old that dh and I can enjoy too! We wondered about Center Parcs - can anyone tell us what they're like? Any other ideas? We prefer self catering style to hotels, but will consider anything, as long as it doesn't cost a fortune!

IMO Center Parcs is fab. There's something to do whatever the weather. DD is 2 and ds 3. But we've been going with the kids since ds was 6 months old, I've been going since I was a kid as well. Been to Oasis, wouldn't go back. It was awful. Been to Elvedon which was fine but Sherwood is 15 minutes up the road from us so we just go there now. It's fab, the kids love it. We've jsut spent a week there and have already booked for Jan next year. I would highly reccomend it. But then there are also other MNtters who say a Center Parcs holiday would be their idea of hell.
