our DD's and grandson are in Alcudia as we speak but they are staying at Marina Delfin Verde sorry.

Yes, I have. It was about 10 years ago on an all inclusive basis. It was linked to another hotel, Saturn I think. From what I remember it was a nice hotel and the food was fine. Plenty to do in the grounds etc.

There was entertainment at night, one side was for Germans and the other for English. It was a bit boring so we went out at night.

Not sure how much it has changed since.

Ask anything else you want to know. Just racking my brains atm and remembering the kids clubs etc.

We stayed in the saturn which is part of the same complex last year, it was ok, the food was fine the rooms very basic.The entertainment was good for the kids.The thing i didn't like was the big pools, you couldn't get a bed by them unless you put yout towels out at 6am(we didn't do this) but there is a small childrens pool at the other end of the complex which we used everyday which was great for my 2 dc aged 2.5 years and 5.It was very very busy and a bit ahem common boistrous.We had a good holiday but i wouldn't go back there.

lol at the common/boisterous, yes I'll second that but very good for kids. Plenty going on.

I know the kids loved it and the caberet shows in the tent/arena of a night were good, beach was a bit of a trek though. we went out for a walk one day for an hour cue 3 1/2 hrs later staggering back because of all the canals and steps, no good with a buggy.

oww thanks every one im going in september with my 3 children and hubby so hope they will like it lol was there a lot of choice food wise for the kids

There was loads of choice foodwise, my 2 didn't complain.If you are going in September it should be fine wont be as busybut i would definatley reccomend using the kids pool rather than the main ones.I would also reccomend going to the Pirates show it was fantastic.hope you have a great time

We stayed at Marte (one on the same site) about 10 years ago. Room was fine, food was ok, but haven't been there with kids. I've heard it's totally rammed in school hols, but September should be alright. We went at the end of September. It was our first time in Majorca and loved Alcudia and have been back since. We found walking to the beach ok - would probably be alright with a buggy, but not sure about walking children/toddlers.

oww thank u i was hoping to go to the pirates show sorry for the name change lol i have been to majorca 4 times b4. but stayed in diffrent parts so carnt wait did u have any probs .with the mozzies t al why u was there coz of the lake near by

No mossies when I went in June and believe me they would have found me had there been any. Very good choice of food. Also did the pirates show. It's all coming back to me now. I want to go on my hols, nothing planned atm.

cant remember how much the show was, but whatever it was it was worth it your 2 older children will love it, my son 5 and daughter 2 1/2 absolutely loved it.
The mossies were fine and we were there in August.

thats gd then i was a bit worried bout the mozzies.as on feed bk from the holiday there was ppl saing they was bit all the time .and i ws worried about the kids .or should i say me because it would prob be me that was munched on hahahahahahahah and i have heard nothing but gd things about the show
