Wheel trim help needed

Have peugeot 206 with only 2 wheel trims...

Firstly - are they just aesthetic and to look nice or do they have a function (i.e. do I need to get them replaced?)

Secondly - besides the size, does it matter which ones I get? Do they have to be peugeot?

am def no authority on these things, but i have had cars where they have fallen off and i never replaced them.
i have seen them in argos so assuming you dont need specific ones

They are pretty. No function.

Try a scrap yard for replacements. Ask them if they have the same make and model as you. You will have to clamber over old cars and remove them yourself, but likely it will be free or a few quid only.
