25yo son taking 15yo brother to Finland

My 25-year-old son is planning to take his 15-year-old brother on a skiing and winter activities trip to Finland, either February half term or Easter. They want guaranteed snow, decent snowboarding/skiing, and some Arctic excursions like husky sledding or snowmobiling.

For those who know the Finnish resorts, where would be the best fit for an adult and a teenager? Levi seems like it might have a bit more life and a proper town centre for them, but I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Also, would you recommend a package deal through someone like Crystal or Inghams for ease, or is it straightforward enough for a 25-year-old to DIY a log cabin and flights? Any tips on food or keeping costs down for two hungry lads would be massively appreciated! Thank you!

No idea, but I just wanted to say how fab your eldest son sounds!

Again no tips, but how lovely of your son to be so kind to his younger brother.

My oldest (24) took youngest (16) - same Dad different mums to Copenhagen for a few days

Youngest is Autistic so needs help to stay unstressed but they had a great time and Railcards were great replacing the one he lost on the trip home...........

Oldest is forever travelling though so he knows how to get tickets, hotels etc

I hope your sons have a great time!

I did give oldest a letter giving him permission to take youngest out of the Country in case it was queried so that might be worth doing

Thank you they are lovely together and went to Budapest this year in February for five days and had a really great time together.

I want to Switzerland this half term with the youngest as my best friend lives there and he's now got the bug for skiing so I think the oldest one fancies going skiing as well with him.

I'm completely not a skiier! No experience of it. So I guess we want suggestions if possible for a straightforward reasonably priced ski break. Could also be in Europe. I think we need it all planned and paid for before they go to make it as stress free for them as possible.
