destination ideas please

has anyone got any suggestions for holiday destinations that are not too touristy/noisy as have grumpy dh, and good for dc's aged 2 4 and 15.was thinking of maybe minorca or one of the greek islands but am not sure which resorts are nicest.any help greatly appreciatedx

We went to Menorca, quite expensive when you get there (although I always think of Greek prices when thinking about European holidays!!) so I would get at least half board, not SC. We went South East ish and it was a little too noisey just around the bay from us, but our place was okay... although full of tattoos, belly peircings (on older large tummies) and parents allowing their children to smoke and drink!! There are loads other lovely places.

I think if you want something quiet, get a villa inland a little bit somewhere. Most resorts have lively areas. We go to spain each year and get villas and it is lovely. We stay well clear of Benidorm and find little secluded beaches and historical towns where there are hardly any brits.

mm maybe not menorca then, can you suggest anywhere in greece?

Zante, although I haven't been for years. Avoid Lagana.
