Hotels in Marrakesh

I have found flights (cheap) and now need a hotel, b&b - any pearls of wisdom. Not worried about room size or western style breakfast as prefer continental, but any pool needs to be heated and love a hot tub plus maybe spa treatments. Ideally central. It’s in 2 weeks so there are so many bargains but once you go on Tripadvisor or Google so many complaints (and bizarrely 5 star reviews for same date!) real life recommendation is definitely needed! Thanks in advance

There’s basically two types. In the old centre with the markets and stuff is usually riads (traditional houses turned into little hotels). Some small hotels with pool/hot tub but expensive.

or out in the French new town lots of big hotels with loads of pools and stuff. They usually run minibuses to the historic centre.

We stayed at Le Farnatchi Riad in the Souk and it was super lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. They have a great restaurant opposite as well. Would go back there in a heartbeat.
Also - our room had the largest bath I've ever seen!
