Thorpe Park advice

Hello
DD (15) and her bestie are desperate to visit Thorpe Park. We are about 3 hours away.
Looking at going in half term, I know it will be busy but needs must.
Any tips? Parking? Maybe a cheap (decent ish) hotel nearby so I don’t have to do it in a day? What’s hot, what’s not?
Thanks lots.

If your DD has a unidays account (which they can often get in high school) or you have a blue light discount, you get money off the tickets. There are lots of airbnbs nearby, I don't personally feel the hotel on thorpe park property are at all worth the money. I normally park on site, you can pay for parking in advance. If you only want to do one day at the park (we usually do), windsor castle is a 20 min drive away so you could stay overnight, split the drive and go to windsor the next day.
