METRO CENTRE OR LIFE SCIENCE?

For a 9 and a 5 year old, which is better?
Was looking at the clip n climb and the light game challenge thing at the metro centre? Or not sure if the Life Science museum would be better?

Thank you!

The metro centre with dc is a hideous form of torture..
How about the Hancock Museum. Bonus being it's free entry!
And has a cafe..

*now called Great North Museum..

I agree with @Pumpkinsaregrowingnicely - life science museum, Great North Museum and lots of great options for a child friendly lunch. Even a walk along the quayside and an ice cream or pizza slice is a nice idea at their ages if the weather is ok. I think there are a couple of boats moored they can look at and it’s a long area for a walk and fresh air. (There’s a farm down in Ouseburn if you walk far enough instead of 2 museums and a Story Book place down there too if you google)

As an aunt to many nephews and nieces that age or older - metro centre is good for clip and climb, maybe cinema then lunch with some shopping for a football kit/ball/boots or some new PJs and lip balms (when taking my nieces - not sexist, just preferences!). If you want more of family day out, Newcastle is the one.

i would consider parking costs, ticket entry costs etc if that’s a big factor for you. 😊

(There is also bowling at the metro centre and I think a mini golf place - only you know your own little ones! Are they more interested in physical games or a museum?)
