Compression packing cubes

I personally don't think packing cubes make my life easier for a normal 1-2 week holiday where I unpack after arrival but I have an issue next month that I will be travelling for 2 weeks on 3 locations with limited suitcase space but will be working so I can't just rely on jeans, T-shirts and jumpers.

I am now wondering if compression cubes may be an option for things like T-shirts (for weekends and a casual event), socks, underwear and keep more space for office wear, especially tops as I don't know if I have the possibility to iron.

The suitcase will go into the hold but I can't use anything I need a hoover as I won't have one in the hotels.

Any recommendations which won't break the bank but actually will work are appreciated.

Think about packing in cubes by outfits - I did this when I was doing a touring holiday and it worked really well. I also put dirty washing in one packing cube.

I have standard ones from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/ANSIO-Packing-Organiser-Compression-Suitcase/dp/B096SQ2ZF5/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2Z3H1Q6SE9QHD&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.h_S3aExRiDnSqtFRlMEQzMo5d-HcdlMxZ_IketGh_2StWr_s8Ex3imfme8BoDzDw78sZJk3aI2vM8RDSbNMMLc2-YcyW_DRV7JK097OVBeNwh2d-reGSRx2pYXCq4Jz9wqqR30PRgIbMunu4DsOenq1orTCsFksi3BU3D2vGGqyQ-EZe_He-vV-uXgsplJGK8kT1IqaDtIOAPRsMiPIfhicUxgqqQO9xP24W-DdgIbxu7X3yW9eJsdxkYovD_z0s1McifTKRVONLzR-oEmhsq9ReE7XinMCgdjjWMz7ikqs.0J0Hx3TUZSytiHMClgiBHdpqBrhGMj6jzujS2GaGxd4&dib_tag=se&keywords=ansio%2Bpacking%2Bcubes%2Bfor%2Bsuitcases&qid=1791730269&sprefix=Ansio%2Bpacking%2Caps%2C120&sr=8-1&th=1

but I keep looking at vacuum ones you roll up to expel air to compress them. Unfortunately you do end up with crumpled clothes. https://www.amazon.co.uk/KFYM-Storage-Reusable-Perfect-Organizer/dp/B07DWLB6F2/ref=sr_1_6?adgrpid=192073332931&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.d3I9wBxmbTI2g_aCGqn9Zf-1dDWai-HtKWV98YvGdt2bp1nkb6iI4EWq-cQIsCMs81S0pYpsL2NUoVCISLTkUffKpRzijQbUbHV0u1XMlotqbbnIzPJa7MrecKhaQGqfA85AmIhA2czT7S3opEHH21owkxAimN7m-_J734UbwgaZT7dHMPK9SbmX3u65ds9G1Ofh1fI8X4-TVbMerIXaHnlGyOVYvejlwj_fNtrzwNaQKozF1MzsUHKTaOQLku9wpdGQzLi3me2T1mP65x9htqc1TuVPQ_9dTFMfWFtiJro.tlL1dEYTWP60-397-B0yDOalOV2L6LTb4OCDiI6ahCg&dib_tag=se&gad_source=1&hvadid=793509863962&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9258401&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=6934230830423425342--&hvqmt=b&hvrand=6934230830423425342&hvtargid=kwd-299880483523&hydadcr=18480_2426871_4585&keywords=roll+up+vacuum+travel+bags&mcid=d6722a15e68c35b3be326d26a13c02ff&qid=1791730011&sr=8-6

You can also get them with a small pump https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vacbird-Storage-Reusable-Wireless-Electric/dp/B0F6MMM2RB/ref=sxin_11_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?adgrpid=192073332931&content-id=amzn1.sym.e0ed8033-2f43-4d42-8ecc-78cbc731e86e%3Aamzn1.sym.e0ed8033-2f43-4d42-8ecc-78cbc731e86e&cv_ct_cx=roll%2Bup%2Bvacuum%2Btravel%2Bbags&gad_source=1&hvadid=793509863962&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9258401&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=6934230830423425342--&hvqmt=b&hvrand=6934230830423425342&hvtargid=kwd-299880483523&hydadcr=18480_2426871_4585&keywords=roll%2Bup%2Bvacuum%2Btravel%2Bbags&mcid=d6722a15e68c35b3be326d26a13c02ff&pd_rd_i=B0F6MMM2RB&pd_rd_r=53ca3f85-8e84-438e-9791-2ce91be1e8bb&pd_rd_w=8nd56&pd_rd_wg=bBbzK&pf_rd_p=e0ed8033-2f43-4d42-8ecc-78cbc731e86e&pf_rd_r=B7P5AZFDTTBR98H1NDK1&qid=1791730011&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sr=1-1-76163601-3bc5-4bd6-b454-ded14c50366a-spons&aref=dryS3r05Jw&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&th=1

I tried packing cubes but just found them too much hassle.

Roll your clothes. Pack sock/underwear into shoes etc.. Works just as well.

Thanks, I had a look at the links and also at some other articles about differences. One actually said, the amount of items in a suitcase if folding clothes is the best.

I will continue packing as usual. Taking a normal bag with me to separate dirty washing and paying for a hotel drycleaner once if necessary.

I can't pack by outfit as I plan to work with 3 pair of trousers and then a variety of tops, no need for a total smart outfit.

I swear by my packing cubes. I don’t use compression ones - they’re just not necessary when taking hold luggage imo.
