What have you overheard while on a Neilson or Mark Warner holiday?

I think this could be the 2026 version of overheard at Waitrose…

only at Neilson / Mark Warner!!! Overheard looks weird?!

Teenager. Summer 2025. “My Daddy didn’t pay 12K for this holiday for me to lift my own paddleboard”…

Adult. October 2026. “Yes Brian, I think you’ll find it is challenging to wax your own bikini line….” The person in question then, in a waterfront setting, demonstrated all the positions she puts herself into in service of the waxing and asks him how she’s supposed to reach around there.

I was torn between applauding and dying of laughter. As sentences go it was something of a departure from the norm. And I loved it.

A mum at the kids’ club pick-up said, “He’s made a best friend for life today.” Her little boy immediately piped up, “I don’t know his name, Mummy, but he said he’ll save me a sunbed tomorrow.” 😂
