Please recommend a comfortable coach company to travel either from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh or vice versa. It must have WiFi and a loo. Thanks

It’s a developing country. Many of the roads are red dirt tracks. I strongly advise you to research your destination.

I can’t remember if we used 12Go for that particular route but we used them a lot when in Vietnam and Cambodia and recommend.

And it’s a decent road between those two places.

Managed to find the details for you. We did use 12Go to book through, and the operator we were allocated was giant Ibis transport.

We changed our plans a few times and got refunds quickly and easily from 12Go.

Have you researched it? The road between (and in) those two cities is a maintained, paved road.

Sorry, OP, I don't have suggestions as I've only driven it for work and use a car and driver. But it is an easy and maintained road.

We took a cab. Not too expensive.

FeltCarrot · 30/09/2026 19:45

We used 12Go. Took about 6/7 hours from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with a couple of stops. It was fine, and very cheap. No loos on board though.

BTW Phnom Penh is not somewhere I would hurry back to. We had 2 nights there which was more than enough.

Itsthewoluff · 30/09/2026 23:53

We stayed by the river in PP which was quite nice but after a couple of nights is enough.

Really recommend the kampong phluk floating village tour in SR.

Actually we did the killing fields and sleng genocide museum tour from PP too so we needed three nights. That was harrowing and emotional but needs to be done.

Thanks all for finding the details for me, recommending what to do. I’m literally going to PP to see the museum/killing fields and suspect it will be a somewhat “raw” day but, as you say @Itsthewoluff it has to be done. Thavjs all @Darragon @FeltCarrot @rose69
