Looking for personal recommendations for place to stay for 3 nights . Travelling with adult daughter and want room each in a hotel or apartment with 2 separate bedrooms. Would like quiet characterful area with local shops and places to eat and near metro. Budget around 200 a night.

Im looking at Residence & Spa Prince Regent for October half term as a family, 6th arrondissement seems a safe/interesting part to stay in.

Pepper and Paper apartments same area - no reception but cheaper.

Le Marais - 4th arrondissement might be the right sort of area. Variety of accommodation available.
