Eurostar Amsterdam to Disney Paris as a wheelchair user

As we live in the North East, I'm trying to plan travel options for a trip to Disneyland Paris next year.

Im a wheelchair user travelling with my adult daughter (hidden disabilities). Usually we would get the train to London, stay overnight then travel to Gare du Nord then private transfer to Disney. Neither DD nor I can reliably manage all the travel in one day so this way the costs mount up.

Im seriously considering just getting the overnight ferry to Amsterdam, apparently they provide private taxi to the city centre, then direct Eurostar to Disney. Has anyone travelled as a wheelchair passenger from Amsterdam please, and can you tell me if the assistance is reliable?

Can’t comment on the Eurostar from Amsterdam but we got the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam recently and it was wheelchair accessible. I use a wheelchair.

at the terminal on the Dutch side there were several taxis meeting the ferry and I imagine it would be easy to book a wheelchair accessible one. They can drop you off just outside central station Amsterdam.

we didn’t go into the train station.

Does the Eurostar go from Amsterdam to Disney?

It looks like you would have to change in Brussels.

do you have to use Eurostar or could you use the local railways?

There are direct trains on a Sunday, just 2 a day but the later one would work.

Thanks @Octavia64how did you find the ferry as a wheelchair user? I have visions of just getting to my cabin and being unable to go anywhere else!

If you mean the TGV trains in France to get to Disney, I've heard so many horror stories that I dont think that's a route I would want to take thanks.

Fair enough. Well as I said, you should have no problems with a wheelchair at the Amsterdam Eurostar terminal!

have you been before ? I haven’t been for a few years but I seem to recall the Disneyland terminal has good lift access etc too

Yes good.

lifts to all floors.

on entrance a lift to get to the main lifts.
each floor was then level within that floor. Doors to outside had lips but at least one on each floor had a ramp up and down.

food was genuinely amazing. We booked in for buffet dinner and breakfast.
