Flight tomorrow and toddler projectile vomiting

I need advice/tips from anyone who has been through this. Have an 8.5 hour flight tomorrow with a two year old who has just begun projectile vomiting. (I'm feeling queasy, too.) DH can't come, so it's just me and the lad.

Have already thought to dress him head to foot in fleece for the flight (easily wiped up, dries quickly). Am worried about dehydration. Any other tips?

Right now he's refusing liquids, just a few sips of water. Food out for the moment, as his porridge came back up this a.m. in spectacular fashion.

He's had bad bowels (sorry!) for a couple of days now, so I don't think it's going to be one of those 24 hour things, unfortunately.

Grateful for any advice to make tomorrow go smoothly. I am getting very worried. And, of course, have left packing for last minute, and now he's ill and wanting me all the time!

take him to the doctor's. Ask is he's well enough to fly, and if so, then ask for anti sickness/anti diarrhea tablets, and advice on rehydration fluids.
