Hot (weather) beach holiday in October Half Term?

Am struggling to find somewhere for a family beach holiday in October half term. Needs to be hot (proper sunbathing hot) and not rainy or hurricane zone! Max 10 (ish) hour flights, and decent 4/5 star hotels. Please help!

The flight to Cairo takes about 50-60 mins from Hurghada and I think there are about 4 flights a day. Check the Egypt Air website for more details. The flights can be quite cheap if booked in advance and put your country of residence as Egypt and you get even cheaper tickets. The centre of Cairo is about an hours journey or more from the airport because of the appalling traffic.
If you want any more information on Hurghada let me know as we own an apartment there.

I can recommend Barbados for October half term. The rainy season is technically April to November, but it's usually well over by then.

We have had at least 6 trips at this time of year and have had rain - sometimes every day - but it is usually very short lived, and the temperature still remains high.

this is where we usually go - a 4 star resort
