As a family we are taking 6 months to travel the world from January. Children are 18 and 20. We are lucky to be well travelled already but trips have never been longer than 6 weeks before. We have our rtw ticket and most additional flights booked. I need to pull my finger out and start looking at accommodation. We are flash packers by nature. Wondering if anyone here has done a similar trip and what tips they had for either preparation to travel or during. We are travelling through all weather zones, im buying us a cheap reconditioned laptop to take with us so I can do some work (im a legal consultant, im not intending to take new work on but have some stuff that lingers I need to able to deal with). Im thinking of swapping our landline number to phonely so I can put it on my mobile. Not sure about esims etc. Any help much appreciated. Thank you.
