Wheelchair Accessible Days out , near London?

Have just planned a trip to kew as we had seen the new tree-top walkway has a wheelchair lift, only to discover that despite being widely opublicised and flaunted in the press, the lift does not actually become operational for at least another month!

Other good days out - preferably ones where there won't be a 'good bit' which is not accessible?
