Malaga in December

Hello - anyone been in December and how did you find it? There appears to be some Xmas markets - would love to hear anyone who’s been.

We have been to Spanish markets before at Xmas (Barcelona) and enjoyed the warmer weather. Just curious re Malaga before booking anything.

We're staying there from Boxing Day to 2nd January. We've been there for the day in December when PILs lived nearby. It's been something we've been meaning to do for years.
The market was good. We plan to look at the lights, go to the Alkazabar, drink sherry, go for walks on the beach. Maybe even a brief dip!

What's the temperature in Malaga in December? Would outdoor pools in hotels near heated? Considering a bit of winter sun after a terribly wet summer.
