I really want to go to the French Riviera next year. It’s DH, me and 2 university age children. The last 2 summers we have been to Lake Como and Cinque Terre and could hardly move for people. I really want South of France, but without the crowds😆is it possible? I know it will be hot, but will we find a spot on the beach?

Do you have to go in the school holidays? June or September would be better.

I can go in late June beginning July.

Maybe Antibes? There are lots of beaches there so even if it's busy you might be ok. I've only been in the Autumn.

Menton is great. You can do day trips along the coast from there too. It’s not too crowded, has a great market, art museum and fairground. The food is excellent too.
