Looking for a last minute trip for partner and 3 year old… last week of sept, sunny, all inclusive where we need to do as little as possible. Have been on a project all summer so very much in need of a summer break- ikos? Grecotel? Sani? No idea where to start but those have been suggested. All I need is sunshine and the ability to swim in the sea… babysitting or monitors that reach to the restaurant would be amazing. Need to go in 2 weeks to this is a last minute plea!!

You would leave your child asleep in the room and go to the restaurant? Pardon?

Sounds suspiciously like the McCann parents......

I would look for a last minute package deal on whichever flight/holiday provider uses flights from your local airports (Jet2, Easyjet, BA). You might find cheaper booking separately but more work.

Set the filters accordingly, incl TA rating 4 and above and sort by priority. I generally just pick the cheapest that ticks all my other boxes (walking distance to beach, restaurants, supermarket and ideally bus stop), a decent balcony or terrace and TA rating 4.5+ if possible. But if you're looking at Ikos etc, price probably isn't a deciding factor. Princesa Yaiza in Playa Blanca Lanzarote is another MN approved AI hotel that's near a couple of nice beaches, Puerto Pollensa Mallorca or perhaps Menorca?

Obviously it is no longer socially acceptable to leave children asleep in hotel rooms so wouldn't you either take your 3 YO out to dinner with you like all the Spanish and Greek children or have a larger lunch and early dinner with 3 YO then spend time on the balcony while they're in bed?

Please don't leave your dc asleep in the room....

Cyprus is surprisingly cheap currently so you can get much better hotels for a fraction of the price. We really like Atlantica hotels and they have a free kids club.

Agree with don't leave your child in the room alone use the balcony for evening unwinds.

Lujo Hotel in Turkey has a crèche which operates until 2am!

I always used Scott Dunn for the kids clubs.
