Unfortunately, everyone I know with a villa has had the summer hols booked up since before Xmas. My parents are already having enquiries for Summer 2009.

we are going to argeles. we are usually in the cote d'azur but looking for a change. Have been to your area before but as a child many moons ago, so looking forward to it. will get on the mailing list, thanks for your help

Do you def need a pool? The holiday home we have just stayed in on the Ile dÓleron (island close to La Rochelle) has had a cancellation for a week in August (owner emailed me a few days ago to see if I know of anyone who wanted it).
No pool but 10 mins from the beach and had a large garden. Not cheap as it can sleep up to 10 people (5 bedrooms) but a lovely house in a good location.
