Can I change my Ryanair flight to earlier?

I booked my Ryanair flight for the last one of the day but now having a worry about delays etc. I haven’t checked in yet. Is it possible to change to an earlier flight? is it simple to do?

You can but it could cost a lot. You will need to pay a change fee of about £50 and the price difference between the flights. If you booked a while ago and you are changing close to the flight date expect that difference to be huge.
No refund if it’s cheaper.

Check cost of the new flight online. Subtract the cost of your flight plus £50 that’s how much it will cost. That’s if there is availability.

You can but you will have to pay. Go to 'manage my booking' and try changing to see how much it will cost (you can press cancel if it's too expensive).

It's often cheaper to lose the first flight and just book a second new one because it won't come with the £50 change fee.

(FWIW,.future reference, etc, the rules around no showing for an outbound and airlines that do sell returns cancelling subsequent sectors could well be changing, in the EU at least, in about 12 months time - EU 261 is being rejigged).

It is very easy for you to check this yourself. Go on manage my booking, change flights, and select the one you’d like to move to. You won’t actually change anything on your booking until a payment is made, so have a play around with a dummy request and see what the price is.
