Recommendations for a week in Marrakech/Atlas Mountains

I've booked flights for one week in early April to Marrakech for myself and DH for our 30th anniversary. I'm planning on a trip into the Atlas mountains with at least one overnight.

I would be grateful for any accommodation recommendations, places to go, food to eat (I'm vegetarian) etc.

I have searched for posts already but am interested in any tips of places to go. Thanks.

A nice trip out from Marrakech is to the Ourika valley, very pretty with traditional villages.
You can do a day trip through the Atlas mountains to Ouarzazate, its a long day so you could overnight there.
I'd suggest doing an overnight trip to Essaouira on the coast, it's lovely
