Where can I get the best selection of travel toiletries or good travel bottles to decant in?

We are away for a week and i normally take FS toiletries when we travel for 2+ weeks. Who does the best selection of travel stuff or who sells travel bottles that you would recommend?
We are checking in luggage 🧳 x

Boots always has a good selection of travel-sized items and they also sell empty mini bottles.

The only thing I find useful is the Aussie Shampoo series and the TRESemme in travel size. All other things are far too tiny for me to last 1 week and they are too expensive.

If you have hold luggage, just add full size. Can you compromise on something everyone can use? This is what we do, one FS bottle of body wash lasts 3 people and DD and I have different shampoos.

I use silicon travel bottles from Amazon. Lightweight & waterproof.

We are sharing a shower gel, i was thinking about the shampoo and conditioner, things are just so expensive I don't want to waste anything. I will have a look in Boots thank you. I will need to get some travel bottles then I think, the Amazon ones sound good. Thank you

I got my travel bottles from Superdrug. I had silicone ones from Flying Tiger but one of them split and my suncream went weird in another.

I don't buy mini size toiletries as the cost is ridiculous and its often hard to get the product out.

The small size toiletries are expensive for what they are, it would better to get some refillable travel bottles, primark do a good set for a few pounds. Boots do some aswell.

Primark travel bottles are fine and the basic plastic set is a pound.

Check out Muji (shop or muji.eu), it’s got great options.

I usually buy a quality soap and solid shampoo and a conditioner bar... A good one with natural oils and organic etc.. No leaks and you don't need to buy bottles. Plenty on Amazon.

I think they're everywhere when you start looking. I bought my first set in a Spanish supermarket not long after the liquids limit came in and they lasted around 20 years of regular use before the tops started disintegrating and its only recently that I've replaced them with the aforementioned Superdrug ones, which I chose because I wanted something that stood top down and was squeezy because I have a personal bugbear with containers that make it hard to get the contents out.

For 2 weeks, I normally just use full size bottles. If I'm short in luggage weight, I buy them at Boots once I get through security.

I tend not to waste much as I'll be showering twice a day and hair washing everyday.

For shorter breaks, I reuse Body Shop mini shower gel bottles. Had them for years, really sturdy and don't leak.

i’m a reformed terrible packer that has almost nailed the toiletries thing with carry on.
i have some branded products that i refill
over and over as i use the same full
size products eg
tresemme hair products and simple eye make up
remover. i like not having to label everything. my best find was the little sistema sauce pots. sturdy and leak proof.
i use these for moisturiser, hand cream and toothpaste.
just dip my brush in it - but don’t do that slightly full of
french vino because brushing your teeth in hand cream isn’t to be recommended 😂

if i’m going somewhere for longer i order at Boots and collect air side then just leave what i don’t use which tends to

im considering taking bar soap on my next trip and i now have a gorgeous bar hand cream in a tin so that saves some liquid space (and my taste buds!)

I should order from Boots and collect air side thats a brilliant idea! I will need to check what time they open though as the flight is 07:20am. X

I’ve pretty much stopped taking shampoo / shower gel / soap away with me now. I have one tiny little bottle of multi wash stuff I take as a ‘just in case’ but I can’t remember the last time I stayed anywhere that didn’t provide some kind of washing liquid for hair and body. I always take conditioner.

Is it that you all prefer your own products, or are you visiting places that don’t provide this ?

Admittedly I use a lot of shampoo, condtioner , shower gel, I have long hair and don’t scrimp on any of it .
if I’m checking in hold luggage i just take full or half
full bottles, I can use a 300ml shampoo in 2 weeks 😳, and what I don’t use i just leave behind as it’s a very small amount .
The travel size you pay almost as much as the full size & the refillable bottles in my experience are a pain to get the conditioner out of .

I don’t trust the minis left in hotel rooms at all. A bit like never using the kettle or coffee machine. I always take my own. Primark do good travel bottles but for any trips a week or more, I buy airside.

Some airports have great selections that you don’t get in boots. Brands like rituals etc. I love hunting these out when I travel for work.

but tbh any leakproof silicone ones do the job just make sure the cap actually seals properly or you'll open your case to a shampoo explosion, ask me how I know. I don't like to put my liquids in the check in bags just in case.....
Also, Stansted barely even looks at the liquids bag anymore, but abroad I've still had them be proper strict about the 100ml per bottle thing in the clear bag. For suncream if there's a few of you you'll probably need to split it into two smaller bottles each rather than one big one or it won't fit the limit

oh and for shampoo/conditioner honestly just get the bars, Holland and Barrett do decent ones and Garnier has a solid bar too, no liquid faff at all then which is one less thing to sort
