Recommendations for a few days in Florence..

Dh, dd and I are planning a few days in Florence early June next year. Ideally b&b and somewhere quiet but not too far from nice restaurants and sights.
Does such a place exist?
Budget around £2.5 k to.include flights

I can highly recommend the Bob W apartment - very central and nice.

You might want to consider staying outside of Florence. Pistoia for example is a lovely medieval town around 30 minutes by train to Florence and the train fare is cheap. There are some festivals there too in early June and it isn't rammed with tourists at all. It also has an exceptional restaurant scene offering traditional Tuscan specialities. It would definitely be cheaper than Florence for accommodation.
