Somewhere snowy!

I'm looking for a short break for myself and DD this winter - somewhere in Europe, a couple of nights and somewhere snowy! Any suggestions? My dream is to go to Svalbaad but that's longer term as it requires planning!

Iceland?

Iceland isn't always snowy due to it being in the middle of an ocean!
I'd suggest Finland or Tromsø in Norway. I've been to Lapland (but not Helsinki so I don't know how snowy it is) and also Tromsø which was in March - snowy, but not too dark, though dark enough nights to go on a Northern Lights chasing tour (they often go inland as it's really cloudy on the coast).

Northern Finland, Sweden or Norway.

I’m another coming to recommend Tromso. We did it last year, went a few days after Christmas.
Depending on your time/confidence driving, I would also recommend going further north. We went to Skjervoy (sp?) which is small but beautiful, was very snowy and had great whale watching trips plus snowmobiling etc if that’s your thing.
