Lanzerote in November

Booked to go to Lanzerote for 5 nights in November for dd birthday ( she doesn’t know where I’m taking her 😎) so very trivial but I’m wondering what I wear heading for the airport obviously being November I wouldn’t be wearing the usual summer clothes I would for a summer holiday! Landing in Lanzerote in jeans jumper and coat doesn’t feel right

I have a pair of thin bamboo yoga pants which are my go to for plane travel, super cool in the sun but not freezing in air con/UK winter. It shouldn’t be boiling in the canaries, mid-low 20s, so your jeans will be okay. I always have a cardi for the plane, because the air con is always a bit cold for me.

We go in February a lot. I often wear my big coat in the car to the airport and leave in car, then have a lightweight jacket for journey/chilly evenings (sometimes a cosy scarf as well for plane. Once you get in airport, the temp is fine. Jeans would be fine for arriving as it won’t be that hot but not that comfy for flight. Probably a good idea to have a slightly more autumn outfit with you anyway. Weather should be good but you never know.

Check the weather at the time, its hugely variable. I went mid November last year and it was generally warm there but there was a big storm.

I tend to travel in 'UK clothes' and just remove a layer or two on arrival. If you have jeans and a jumper with you, it will be useful if you're chilly in the evening and for the way home.

Thanks everyone I never give it a second thought when it’s a summer holiday 👍 I actually have a light weight coat bum length from Zara with a hood maybe I could wear that with wide jogging bottoms and a T-shirt .. might be more comfortable for travelling than jeans nothing worse than a tight waistband when travelling
We will be getting the bus to the airport so will feel the cold a bit more than in a car
