Sydney Bridge Climb - has anyone done it? Would you recommend it?

4 weeks today till we fly to Oz!

I'm looking at all the things we could do in Sydney, where we are for a week.

Lots of people have recommended the Bridge Climb, and said that we should book now, before we get there. I went online today to have a look at it, and was rather taken aback to find out that it will cost in the region of £310 for the 4 of us to do it!

Given that ds2 (13) doesn't seem keen, and ds1 (16) says 'whatever' - I'm a bit reluctant to part with this amount of cash.

Is it really worth it? Would you do it?

We did it! Pre-children, in 2000.

It was absolutely fantastic. Really well run. Amazing views and just one of those things you do that makes you think "wow".

Not very hard work climbing. Very safe. Stunning views.

Also enjoyed a speedboat ride round the harbour. Taronga Zoo fantastic. The botanic gardens were brilliant. We also did a dusk helicopter ride which was great. But I think the best 2 things we did were the bridge climb and the speedboat ride.

Loved Sydney. Want to go baaaacckk.
