Recommendations for a Christmas away this year-family of 4

Our family finds Christmas tricky at home and there is not much opportunity for an extended family festive love in which my kids would love but isn't possible- so rather than pretend / exhaust ourselves on trying to create a vibe, this year we're going to go away. We are looking for an experience of 1-2 weeks and have 2 teens. I'd like it to still have something of a Christmas/festive vibe for the kids. We're fairly flexible on budget - wondering about Mexico? A Cruise? Any other ideas? We have done a travelling adventure Christmas in a none Christian country before too which was great but the Christmas vibe was obviously completely absent.

Malaga? We're flying there on Boxing Day for a week. We used to go for the day when my PILs lived in Spain and decided we would love to stay for longer.

Tromso or other Arctic Circle locations? Lots of snow obviously, huskies, snow shoeing, possibility of Northern Lights. I believe at Tromso you can also take boats out to spot whales. Avoid anywhere with Santa visits on offer or you’ll pay a huge premium (assuming yours are too old!).

Alps would also have a Christmas vibe with the snow but if you’re not skiers you’d need to choose carefully to have somewhere busy enough but not a ski resort.

Singapore celebrates Christmas and New Year in quite a big way. There’s lots to do, including a Universal Studios

If you fancy a cruise a Carribbean one at Christmas is great. Festive vibes with sunshine and brilliant trips

Thank you. We might revisit cruises then and also consider Malaga. Whilst it doesn't need to be boiling I think very cold would be a no from DH.
