Shopping suggestions in Nice, including Spanish olive oil and other buys

Going to Nice soon. My question is is there good Spanish olive oil that's available to buy there? I bought some amazing olive oil from Spain a few years ago, from a posh little deli. and have never found anything similar in the UK.

Any other suggestions for what's good/cheaper than UK in terms of shopping, toiletries or fashion would be appreciated. Many thanks 😊

Well you’d be more likely to find French olive oil there, given it’s in France.
Nicolas Alziari is a good one. I usually stock up on fancy soaps at Molinard, and fill my basket at one of the parapharmacies. There is a massive one in Cap3000, toiletries are miles cheaper and the choice is phenomenal.
You may find that French supermarkets are less international than UK ones, so it’s not going to be the best for non French foods.

I've heard you can pick up tretinoin at pharmacies so will look out for that

They grow a lot of lavender fields in that part of France so you get a lot d lovely lavender products in Nice.
If you like tuna, try the pain bagnet sandwiches there! Delicious!
There's some gorgeous places but far away by train to visit like Menton and Villefranche sur mer. Be aware if you are getting about nubtraij that the stretch between Nice & Monaco gets very busy.

You can get the train from Nice to Ventimiglia in Italy. The daily indoor food and flower market is excellent, and on Fridays there is also an outdoor leather, fashion, shoes, homewares etc market.

There are street food vendors around the old town in Nice who sell a kind of thick pancake/flatbread called Socca, made from chickpea flour, fried in olive oil and served hot with black pepper. It is delicious.
