British Airways Package Hol Lovers - Share your best ever holiday!

Hi this is not a plug for BA - we just have a lot of points to use so specifically want to go with them next Summer (for a flight + hotel package). And are looking for inspiration, as you need to know where you want to go when you start a search.

Please tell me about really great hotels you've stayed at via BA that had lots to do around there, beautiful surroundings etc. Don't worry about budget, just look for any and all inspiration.

Would be for 2 adults and 2 teens so I guess experience of places with good set up to accommodate that! We love activities, sight seeing, great food and a bit of luxury :)

Dubrovnik, Excelsior ; it's a really top class hotel.
It's a short walk from the town, breakfast is great - a proper menu as well as the usual buffet. We had dinner there once (raining hard in March), but there are plenty of good restaurants in the town.

I love a BA package (again not a plug for BA!). Best ones have included the Lindos Blu in Rhodes (you’d have to stay at their sister hotel - Lindos Mare as the Lindos Blu is adults only). We also loved Port Saint Charles and Beach View Hotel (two separate BA holidays) in Barbados. We’re about to go to Sorrento with them to the Grand Hotel Royal for 10 nights. Each of these holidays was cheaper booked as a package. We only use our companion vouchers and Avios for the long hall ones. Please return and tell us what you find and book!

Ooh let me know what you think of Sorrento! Would love Barbados, but maybe a bit further than I'm comfortable flying

@Witchhunted we’ve been to Sorrento before - it’s gorgeous. Just not to such a luxurious hotel! Barbados flights take around eight hours and it’s absolutely worth it. November is great and cheaper than after Christmas. Book in the BA sale for it is my recommendation or if you want to use your companion voucher book a year ahead when the reward flights are released.
