Airport cyber attack warning for East Midlands, Stansted and Manchester customers

East Mids, Stansted and Manchester airports. Apparently no payment data compromised, but email addresses, names, car registration numbers, telephone numbers of 8.7m customers taken.

i got their email advising of this. Worth a bit of extra vigilance with phishing emails, texts and calls that will likely now result.

yeah I also got the email this morning as a result of booking fast track a couple of weeks ago…

I booked meet and greet parking at EM, but haven't had any emails.

I received the same email as I'd booked both fast track and parking for a holiday at the beginning of July. Seems to be happening more and more these days.

No info on what time period the breach covered. Hopefully @thenightsky your data was not compromised.

We got that e-mail, must have been from our March trip. Not noticed any use of it.

I've also used Manchester Airport's own car parks and not had any emails about this. It's worrying because with that information they could try and commit fraud relating to insurance claims, motoring offences etc without needing to apply to the DVLA for your contact details. Best to be vigilant about any communications that seem off such as accusations of speeding when you're not sure you were on that road at the time of the alleged offence.
