Seville + where else next Easter with teen?

Myself, DH and DD (16) plan to split a week between Seville and one other location next Easter.

Wondering about two cities (Seville + Malaga or Seville + Cadiz) or a few nights in a coastal town (Nerja with day trips to Granada and Malaga, or Conil de la Frontera with day trips to Cadiz).

We like nature, scenery, history, walks, food. DD like vintage/market and surfy shopping, buzzy atmosphere, general insta-able scenery and buildings. She doesnt' want to stay somewhere sleepy.

I know the weather will be unpredictable but we would like to stay somewhere with a decent, open pool and loungers at least part of the time in case we get some sunny afternoons. In Seville, most pools are closed in March.

Any advice, or hotel recommendations?

We did 2 nights in Cordoba followed by 4 nights (Easter weekend) in Seville this year. Book your acccommodation early and it will be expensive. We loved Cordoba and would reccommend 3 nights there followed by 3 nights in Seville if we did it again. We flew to Seville and caught the train to Cordoba first and saw the parades up close and personal in both cities. Great experience and it was hot this year!

These are great suggestions. Basically, I'm trying to find a hotel with an open pool and a loungey area so we can possibly lie out and swim if the weather's good. Other than the ultra-lux hotels I can't find anywhere in a city that provides this at Easter.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know!

I know everyone will say its too cold to swim but we are hardy and happily swim in outdoor pools in the Algarve at this time of year when everyone says its 'freezing' ;-)

Hi OP, we went to Seville at Easter this year, we arrived on good Friday and took a train straight down to Cadiz to spend a couple of nights there and escape the more intense parts of Semana Santa in Seville. The weather was over 30 degrees and Cadiz was beautiful, to have such an ornate old twin and magnificent cathedral and a beautiful beach as well was a real bonus.
We went back to Cadiz on the Sunday and I have attached an image of a hotel with a rooftop pool we could see from the roof terrace of our Airbnb, it looks lovely. Avd that area is near a big long square that has a lot of good bars and restaurants that are more local and less touristy.
I would also recommend spending time in Trains as it is so rustic as has livery old tapas bars there. We also day tripped to Cordoba by train.

It wasn't 39 degrees all the time, it was 20 degrees at times but people were enjoying that pool on the warmer days.
